 It continues with community…

“When we built our home in Cedar Valley Ridge, there was only one other house in the development. We decided to build here because we liked the layout of the site with homes clustered around the roads and a lot of common land with several miles of trails. We love to hike, snowshoe, and ski. There is nothing better than walking out of our house and being right on a well-maintained trail. We use the trails almost every day. One of the unexpected benefits of living in CVR is being part of a friendly, active community.

We enjoy the social events and especially the service projects where members of the community work together on projects for the community or in support of the broader Traverse City area community. As every new family moves in, we are adding new friends to our lives.”

“My wife Ruth and I often while out walking in the neighborhood will say, “We love living here”. When walking on the trails it is very peaceful and relaxing. It gives us time to slow down and just sit for a while; let the outside world slip away for a bit. CVR is secluded far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Traverse City that you can avoid the crowds when you want to but close enough to enjoy the many restaurants, entertainment, and other events when you desire. Building here was an easy decision with the privacy that the development provides but also we have found that we really do enjoy the community and the time we spend with our neighbors.”

“CVR has been an amazing place for our family to live.  We love the tranquility that the neighborhood offers and the sense of community that we have there.  The walking trails are a place to unwind at the end of the day and to catch a glimpse of animals right in our back yard.  The proximity to Traverse City and surrounding towns make us feel like we are close to everything, but yet offers an escape from the noise when we need it.  Our family has loved living in CVR and we look forward to many years enjoying our home and this wonderful neighborhood.
